Finding Suitable Newsletter Articles
All these pre-written, copyright-free articles, or ClipArticles as we call them, are of varying lengths but are always more than 100 words, and cover a wide array of topics. They are suitable as newsletter content (including ezines), or for websites, and are sometimes referred to as canned content, instant content, off-the-peg or off-the-shelf content and so on. They are divided into groups, as shown in the SubGroups menu in the left margin.
The SubGroups Menu
To find a suitable article, click on an appropriate sub-group and you will be taken to a categorized article list. Each list contains other 'groupings' such as a Tone column, a Focus field, and so on, to help you quickly ascertain an article's suitability for your newsletter. Another useful area to consider is the Working Title, which is a good guide to the subject covered but, as implied, is optional (in other words, you may change it to suit your publication).
Please note: this sub-menu is only populated with entries when there are sub-groups applicable to the page you are viewing, like this one. Elsewhere on this site, whenever this is not the case, it will usually be blank.
Searching For Articles
If you have a word or phrase that you think would be bound to occur somewhere in a relevant article (i.e. a Keyword or Keyword Phrase), use our site search feature.
If you can't find a suitable article covering the topic you have in mind, click on Content Providers under Other Resources in the left margin menu. There you will find the most comprehensive directory of content providers you are likely to find anywhere. This directory is a ClipCopy exclusive resource for members only.
